Crowley Names Dennis White to Lead Brokerage Operations

He'll Lead Growth Strategy in the Sector

Crowley has selected Dennis White as its newest vice president of brokerage services, the maritime and logistics company announced Oct. 2.

White will be tasked with leading the growth strategy for the company in the brokerage sector.

That includes being responsible for carrying out the development of an enhanced carrier support team, leveraging technology to bolster brokerage services and business development for attracting and retaining customers.



“The brokerage sector represents a strategic opportunity for Crowley to leverage its supply chain management capabilities and bring more value to customers for land transportation services,” said Ray Fitzgerald, chief operating officer at Crowley. “Dennis’ digital experience and expertise in supply chain management will drive our growth in this important and competitive sector.”

Crowley considers his appointment an important step in its expanding land transportation strategy, the focus being on land transportation services, across all modes, in North America. The company in more recent years has developed freight transportation services in the commercial and government sectors as part of its multimodal logistics solutions.

White was previously director of digital solutions at Crowley. He previously served in multiple leadership and management roles at DHL Supply Chain, Forward Air Corp. and C.H. Robinson Worldwide.
