Spartan Radar, a provider of radar-based safety technology, has launched sales of its Hoplo advanced collision warning system through a new partnership with RiverPark Inc., a national distributor of electronics and other products to original equipment manufacturers.

Hoplo, unlike other radar systems on the market, provides drivers with true situational awareness by detecting and reporting multiple objects through its informational display, Spartan said in the Sept. 12 announcement.

Spartan said its software enables Hoplo to provide more reliable object detection with fewer nuisance alerts, which gives drivers greater confidence in the safety system.

RiverPark and Spartan have begun installing these systems for customers across a range of industries, including trucking, mining, waste, construction, utility operations and recreational vehicles.

“RiverPark is a trusted and experienced distributor that shares our vision of delivering cutting-edge radar technology to RVs and commercial fleets,” Spartan Radar CEO Matt Markel said. “We are honored to work with them and their customers who value safety and reliability.”
